We welcome the lovely month of May, our artTILE exhibit, our grand new selection of creative arrivals - and most importantly - you! - our fans & patrons! We invite you to see the exhibit and all of the many wonders of our artists' fine craft.

artTILE 2015 is an event that invites 35+ contemporary ceramic artists to push the boundaries of a clay slab. Their clever creations challenge what we think of as "tile", while delighting and intriguing us with a variety of color and complexity! Join us in discovering over 1000 tiles made especially for this exhibit and enjoy our first of four artTILE events on May 9th with Emily Ulm!

Just in time for Mother's Day on May 10th, we also welcome new jewelry artist, Dawn Middleton, along with new designs from Janet Tobler, Amy Flesher, Gunter Schwegler, Sara Pearce, Ken Swinson, Amy Greely, Heather Grandmont, Michael Macone, Bette Drake, Ken Kantro, Jackie Keck, Barbara MacCambridge, Sam Hitchman, David Kalish, Trish McLennan, and more!

artTILE 2015 is an invitational exhibit featuring 35+ exceptional artists specially selected to display a wide range of designs, sizes, prices, and techniques offering a collection with great scope and depth. Hand-built, carved, pressed, stamped, molded, and one-of-a-kind art tiles will be on view. Styles range from whimsical and contemporary to the traditional aesthetics inherent to the arts and crafts movement. Imagery is also as diverse, from beautiful nature inspired motifs to thoughtfully rendered architectural landmarks to modern abstract graphics.

artTILE 2015 delivers something for everyone. Enjoy the classics of the arts & crafts movement along with the extensive eclectic design directions from seven new artists exhibiting at indigenous for the first time. In addition to the new exhibitors, four of our year-round clay artists have added tiles to their repertoire and will be featured in the show!

	Saturday, May 30 12-5 Colleen Williams Porcelain artTILE Trunk Show	Joining indigenous for the first time is Colleen Williams who recently moved to Tennessee. Colleen's beautiful tiles are unique in every way ~ crisp ceramic box forms with free-form organic, floral-inspired glaze patterns. Each single tile could be a lovely accent. Or be bold; make a grouping of her tiles to make a statement - a designer's dream!
	Saturday, June 6 11-5 Bonnie Mitchell Sgraffito Pottery & Tile Trunk Show & Carve Your Own Tile Event	Local clay artist, Bonnie Mitchell, will be sharing her latest graphic, black & white sgraffitto works in tiles and functional pottery. You'll be treated to a demonstration of her techniques and get a chance to Carve Your Own Clay Tile for $15. Stop in early for a chance to have Bonnie guide you in making your very own artTILE!
	Saturday, June 13 11-5 Nita Claise Raku-fired Ceramics & Tile Trunk Show	Raku-fired tiles, pottery and sculptural vessels will be featured in this special Trunk Show by Indiana artist, Nita Claise. Nita's unique black & white crackle tiles along with the classic coppery raku-finished tiles are a favorite in our artTILE exhibit, but for this one day we have a chance to see a broad range of her artful designs!
