Holiday Walk Weekend kicks off on the
Third Thursday BENEFIT Wine Walk for Caracole, 5-8~
Sara Pearce "Paper with a Past" Trunk Show
Thursday, November 20, 12-8
Modern twist with vintage flair in prints, cards, calendars, & originals.
Meet Sara Pearce and see what's new as she presents a Trunk Show of her Paper with a Past designs from 12 to 8 on November 20. "After years as an editor/critic/columnist/reporter at newspapers large and small - USA TODAY, Orlando Sentinel, Nashville Banner, Cincinnati Enquirer, to name a few - I turned to storytelling in a new way: collage. I'm mostly self taught, and find my materials by cruising yard sales, flea markets, used book shops, thrift stores and back roads. I badger friends, family, and even strangers for their discards. In other words: I've no shame when it comes to paper, but I do when it comes to collage making. No photocopies. No computers. No faux ephemera. Just paper. Painstakingly cut and pasted, layer by layer."
Enjoy the holiday cheer with friends & family while shopping with a purpose~ 10% of your purchase will be donated during our BENEFIT Wine Walk from 5 to 8. This month O'Bryonville recognizes Caracole, a local charity which provides safe, affordable housing and supportive services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. Enjoy the Party, Shopping, and Giving.

Michelle Christman
Please welcome Michelle Christman of Lynchburg, Ohio to
indigenous. She recently made her first delightful delivery of her imaginative, story-book like creatures. Michelle's sculptures & ornaments are created by needle-felting wool with great detail, capturing enchanting personalities for each. The menagerie includes foxes, opossums, raccoons, kitties, dogs, deer, penguins, and polar bears - oh my!

Rachel Donner has not only joined our staff, but has also become part of our
indigenous family of artists! She is an Artist in Residence at Core Clay this year and has just delivered our first batch of pottery - with modern lines (& dots) in porcelain with vibrant, translucent glazes.
|
Debbie McIntyre
Adding her whimsy to our Handcrafted for the Holidays collection this year are the Santas & elves by Debbie McIntyre - cute & classic mixed-media figures & ornaments made with sculpted polymer clay, wire, fiber, & wood.
"I sketch with clay-much the same as a 2D artist sketches with pen and pad. As the character progresses it may go through many changes, but I try to let it emerge from the clay. I will recreate a design, but the components are handmade each time. I am constantly challenging myself to make the characters ever more expressive."
