Celebrate Spring with Sandy Manteuffel

Enjoy a day of shopping our front yard filled with her beautiful ceramics and, if you'd like, work with Sandy Manteuffel to CREATE YOUR OWN leaf impression serving bowl or dish.
MAKE it/TAKE it

 MAKE YOUR OWN!

Stop by~ Work with local ceramic artist, Sandy Manteuffel, to leave an impression. CREATE YOUR OWN functional bowl or dish by pressing leaves of herbs, scented geraniums, and hydrangeas from Sandy's garden into the wet clay form. [pressing process will take about 15 minutes] She'll glaze & fire it for you so you'll have your own piece of handmade ceramic pottery that YOU made to use, enjoy, & show-off!

$12.oo ~ reservations recommended.
meet the artist ~ trunk sale & demo

CREATE in Clay!Local member of the Herb Society, Sandy Manteuffel uses this love of fresh & green to preserve nature's beauty in her pottery. She hand-throws functional ceramics and then presses herb sprigs and leaves of scented geraniums & hydrangeas into the wet clay. Leaving the leaves in to burn out during firing allows the beautiful vein impressions to remain. She finishes each piece with a special glaze that highlights these impressions & gives a warm, natural finish.
