Fresh Winter Wonders ~ brand new artists! |
Terri Eilermann
cincinnati, ohio
Using chipped & broken antique china plates, Terri Eilermann upcycles them to create exquisite works of mosaic art. She begins by cutting out a form from discarded wood and then assembles the various shards of broken dinnerware, selecting just the right splash of color or bit of texture, to create a new, beautiful treasure. |
Deborah Hastings
cincinnati, ohio
Keep your head toasty & stylish during the wicked winter with these beautifully knitted wool hats. Deborah Hastings has created unique designs~ a jaunty double beret to accent your winter wardrobe; the clever goat-herders wrap to keep yours ears warm too, and the dynamic onion dome with colorful designs for all occasions. |
Nancy Koscheski & Jean Schilling
bentonville, ar
Our newest, eye-catching kaleidoscopes & teleidoscopes are designed by Nancy Koscheski & Jean Schilling. The indricate woodworking is all hand-laminated using native Indian woods- padauk, rosewood, ebony, teak, & jalneen. Most are designed with a beautiful wooden case, so you can carry it with you & enjoy the beauty around you in a whole new way! |
Sandy Manteuffel
cincinnati, oh
Local member of the Herb Society of Greater Cincinnati, Sandy Manteuffel uses this love of green in her pottery. She hand-throws functional ceramics then presses leaves of herbs & scented geraniums into the wet clay. Leaving the leaves to burn out during the firing alows the beautiful vein impressions to remain. She finishes each piece with a special glaze to highlight these impressions & give a warm, natural finish. |
Amie Zordel
union, ky
Upcycling for the handcrafted holiday~ Amie Zordel has created funky wreaths, Christmas stockings, & oh-so sweet owl & dove ornaments from shrunken cashmere sweaters (don't you hate when that happens) & other warm winter wears. These creations are absolutely adorable for kids of all ages. |
