new artists & new arrivals ~
Veronica Riley Martens~ chicago, il

Veronica Riley MartensVeronica Riley Martens creates one-of-a-kind jewelry from tagua nuts that really make a statement! Tagua nuts are an eco-friendly, organic nut that comes from palm trees in the rainforest. These nuts are dried, sliced into various shapes, & dyed a beautiful array of colors. She then combines these slices of delight with different colors, textures, shapes, & sizes to create unique necklaces, earrings, & bracelets.
Rod Sounik~ columbus, oh

Rod SounikRod Sounik creates beautiful, colorful, organic forms in hot-worked glass.  No two pieces are ever alike, although his signature style is "wild" ~ pieces with undulating, wavy contours like these lovely vases in our front windows! His new collection of art glass showcases organic forms in DNA paperweights, wild vases, star bowls, and more. Check out some of his latest work & get a glimpse of his great personality - just click on the photo below to see the video!

Kristen Bangs~ denver, co

Kristen BangsStarting with 5'x5' sheet of plywood, Kristen Bangs developed a funny little way of making curiously cut wood signs and wall art that reflects her love of color, her whimsical aesthetic for design, & her enjoyment for manipulating text & fonts. Each piece starts out with doodles on a graph sheet of paper using pencils and kneaded erasers, after refining the design, she cuts each phrase or inspirational quote out and paints it with super-saturated colors to make sure the message stands out.

retiring artist~
Robert Eickholt~ columbus, ohioRobert Eickholt at work
After creating exquisite hot-worked glass for over 25 years from his studio in Columbus, Ohio, Robert Eickholt has decided to retire. Internationally recognized for his paperweights, perfume bottles, eggs, vases, & sculptures, Robert has mastered the use of depth & space infusing each piece with beauty & intrigue. He combined the captivating contrast of soft & bold colors to create a work of art that is both ethereal & timelessly beautiful. Robert worked tirelessly to develop Eickholt Glass Studio, creating pieces that became immediately collectible, and definitely secured his place in the great history of Ohio Art Glass. His distinctive designs will surely be missed. Hurry in, no glass collection is complete without a piece by Robert Eickholt.
