~ laurie sharkus ~newport, mi
Laurie Sharkus has a love of animals & a desire to portray their gentle & peaceful spirits that shows in each of her tiles. ~scott weaver
Originally a stone mason, Scott Weaver creates tiles that have a raw, earthy feel to them. Each tile is hand-pressed from original designs that reflect his love of gardening, wildflowers, and nature. He developed his trademark look of hand-scraped relief tile in verdigris glaze after spending four winters studying at Pewabic Pottery. He loves, that from a distance, the raised image of a cat tail, bird, turtle, or frog seems to flash gold against the iridescent glaze.
