A BAFTA and LA Critics Circle award-winner, Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter, Romeo + Juliet) portrays over 23 of Dickens' best-loved characters, setting out to discover the man himself, revealing everything from the raucous humour of his characterisations to the darker, more sinister, aspects of his life and work.

The Cody Rivers Show photo by Erica Zurek "The Cody Rivers Show was absolutely mesmerizing. Forgive me: I didn't, actually couldn't, write anything down. From moment one...no one could tear their eyes away." - Time Out Chicago

The Cody Rivers Show creates kinetic and unpredictable comedy theatre

that has amazed audiences for the past decade. Their latest piece - Once and for All for One - sprints between chainsaw bluegrass, facial mime, mixtapes, marauding trees, Gomez, and much more. Joined by Vancouver's finest comedians for this one-night-only stop on their North American tour, this exceedingly funny show will keep you laughing for weeks.

LEO: Mind-expanding physical theatre that defies gravity!

LEO image "Alternately funny and poetic... LEO soars!" - New York Post

The laws of gravity were made to be broken in this enchanting piece of physical theatre reminiscent of early silent cinema films by the likes of Charlie Chaplin. With a mind-expanding set, LEO, (winner of the 2012 Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe) cleverly juxtaposes projected film and live performance, while embarking on an adventure that is triumphantly funny, witty, and full of surprises.

Caitlin at The Cultch
Meet Caitlin Bryant, Marketing Intern at The Cultch
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.
A: My name is Caitlin Bryant and I'm the Marketing Intern at The Cultch.

Q: What's your favorite show you've seen at The Cultch?

A: Well, I'm not sure how this happened, but somehow between the ages of 13 and 29 I've developed a total obsession with zombies. It's the idea of basic survival skills and the suspense of something lurking around the corner. So, all that being said, I'm going to have to go with Cozy Catastrophe. I thought it had the perfect mix of absurdity and suspense required for any zombie theatre happening.

Q: What's your favorite thing about East Van?

A: Everything. I have a 6-year-old daughter, Claire-Bear, and East Van is an awesome place to live, work, and raise a child with a flare for the dramatic!
