Blind Date: Stealing hearts, one audience member at a time

Winner of 'Best Live Comedic Play, Revue or Series' and 'Best Female Improviser' at this year's Canadian Comedy Awards, Rebecca Northan has created one of the most daring and exhilarating undertakings in the scope of contemporary theatre. In Blind Date, you'll experience all of the excitement and awkwardness of love as Mimi, a Parisian temptress, goes on a blind date with a different man every night - plucked right out of the audience. Don't miss what The New York Times described as "Fearless... and very funny."

Cozy Catastrophe: Celebrate Halloween with this dark comedy!

Cozy Catastrophe image Theatre Melee and Rumble Productions of Vancouver bring you Cozy  Catastrophe - a production that is perfect for the days when the natural light is dimming, a noticeable bite is in the air, and All Hallow's Eve is just around the corner. As Plank Magazine describes it, it's "unabashedly, hilariously gross."
Here's the set-up: Horrific events are overwhelming the entirety of human civilization. Four strangers must decide what to do with what could be their final hours. Should they pray? Fight back? Repopulate the earth? Or just get to know each other a little better? Cozy Catastrophe is a dark comedy about ordinary folks bound together by extraordinary circumstance.

A BAFTA and LA Critics Circle award-winner, Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter, Romeo + Juliet) portrays over 23 of Dickens' best-loved characters, setting out to discover the man himself, revealing everything from the raucous humour of his characterisations to the darker, more sinister, aspects of his life and work.

The Cultch Martini

Thank you to all talented mixologists who submitted recipes for The Cultch Martini Contest and big congratulations to Anne Richardson, the creator of the new Cultch Martini! Anne's winning recipe is a sumptuous blend of vodka, hypnotiq liqueur (natural exotic fruit juices, premium vodka and a touch of cognac), fresh lemon juice & zest. Wow! Maybe Anne will come back for Cozy Catastrophe (Oct. 22 -  Nov. 4) and set us up with a Zombie drink special?!
