Whether it's your health, your sanity, or the the loved ones surrounding you, there is plenty to give thanks for this year - especially local food!  Just imagine what your lovely mid-summer meals would have been like without the local cukes, squash, berries and beer.  Fortunately, we can continue to experience local food and beverages throughout these colder months, especially during the holidays!  
While you're planning your holiday menus, keep local items in mind every step of the way.  Be it holiday decorations, fruits, herbs, vegetables, dairy, seafood and wines - you're entire spread can be produced locally.  Local products will add color, an amazing about of taste, plenty of nutrients, and a sprinkle of joy knowing that you're helping your local economy stay strong.
