SEMAP Buy Local Update #11
Hey Everyone,
             October gave a party...

The harvest season is a time to celebrate the farms, growers, and all the hard working folks who make your life so darn tasty.  Visit the farmstands and farmers markets this month and let them know how much you appreciate and enjoy their great produce. I hope this little poem starts you on your way...

          October gave a party;
          The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
- George Cooper, October's Party.

As always check out our Online Farm Guide for help with finding Pick-Your-Own (PYO), farmstands, and specialty products.
