More than 150 children and family members attended Will Hillenbrand's presentation, which featured him reading his book, and included an interactive discussion of how he became an author and illustrator.  Families made their own kites, played spring-related games, and enjoyed delicious refreshments.  Each family received an autographed copy of Kite Day. Will has been visiting libraries, child care centers, and Head Start facilities throughout Pennsylvania. He emphasizes the importance of reading early and often to young children.
