Detective Elbert (Elbie) Lee writes:
The UMPD Basketball team positioned itself as a contender with a 3-1 record but that sadly came to an end on Saturday, February 27. The UMPD Basketball team came into Saturday's game optimistic about its chances to beat the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Although UMPD was missing two of its starters, the team felt if it limited its turnovers and slowed the game, it still had a chance to win. At games end Kappa Alpha Psi remained undefeated with a final score of 57-32 and UMPD's record fell to 3-2.
Saturday's March 5 game opponent is Ferrandino (II). Public invited to attend
