Sa-weet Win!
Detective Elbert Lee writes:
UMPD Basketball team did it again on Saturday, February 20 against Ferrandino & Son. UMPD got off to a slow start, trailing in the first few minutes by 7-0. In the second half, UMPD methodically worked its offense, using its superior height advantage and some inspired guard play to dismantle Ferrandino & Son on both ends of the court. By game end, UMPD had built an insurmountable lead and won 57-32, positioning itself as a contender with a 3 and 1 record. Saturday's game on February 27 is against the undefeated powerhouse Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, at 10:00 AM at the Greater Norristown Pal Center (GNPC). Public is welcome to attend.
