New Subscriber Fall Campaign
Begins September 25!
|
Dear E-Newsletter Subscribers: The Public Information Office is boosting its township e-newsletter numbers this upcoming season and we need your help!
For fun the PIO is giving five NEW subscribers a $10 township gift certificate during our "Got Your Email" - New Subscriber Fall Campaign.
(Both renderings/graphics designed by Don Herbert, Television Coordinator)
Four simple steps to play: 1) Tell everyone about the e-newsletter and why it pays to play. 2) Tell them the campaign begins on Friday, September 25, and it runs until November 20 and they can log onto www.umtownship.org and click the E-NEWSLETTER button located on the front page of the township website. 3) Tell them to enter their email address under E-NEWSLETTER SIGN-UP. 4) If you subscribe someone, please be sure to tell them.
On Monday, November 23, my team and I will randomly select the winners from the emails we receive and announce them through: social media, UMGA-TV, Township Lines (winter edition), the website and the e-newsletter!
The winners may pick up their gift certificates at the Public Information Office at the Township Building. (Proof of entry is required).

E-HISTORY FACT |
KOP Inn History - Part 3
With the challenge to relocate the King of Prussia Inn, a dedicated group of local supporters mobilized to formulate a plan to move the 550-ton structure. Between 1997 and 2000, the Arthur Powell foundation, the Kravco Co., and PennDOT raised $1.63 million to move the Inn. An additional $400,000 was raised from the community for restoration after the move. On August 20, 2000, after years of planning, and an entire year of shoring up and bracing the structure, the Inn was finally moved to its new home on Bill Smith Blvd. Currently, the fully restored Inn is the headquarters for the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. To make arrangements to see the Inn, please call the Chamber at 610.265.1776.
