Got Snow? The Public Works Department is continuing to salt and plow roadways: ensuring that all streets are passable. Once the snow declaration has been lifted, residents have 24 hours to clear their sidewalks. Please "Adopt A Hydrant" by clearing a path on all four sides. Firefighters will appreciate your help. Open Fore Reading The Library is holding its inaugural Open "Fore" Reading Mini-Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 28 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Mark your calendar. Opening Day for the Farmers Markets spring season is Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It will include a chicken barbeque with the Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company. KOP Inn - Early History
On March 10, 1778, Alexander Hamilton and commissioners from the Continental and British Armies met at the King of Prussia Tavern to discuss the exchange of prisoners...but no agreement was reached.

Green Light Go
The township was awarded the "Green Light Go" grant from PennDOT for $52,420. This grant will allow the township to replace existing Light Emitting Diode ( LED) fixtures for signal indications at 30 signalized intersections. More information here.
