 Shop With A Cop 
Shop With A Cop is a program designed to build positive relationships between the community and police officers.  Juvenile Detective Les Glauner took Nathan Gomes to Target to shop for Christmas presents for his family and friends.

Holiday Workshop
The Upper Merion Emergency Aid Holiday Workshop was held at the Township Building on Thursday, December 18. Selected families participated from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. UMEA  thanks DKG Beta Pi Sisters for assisting families in the workshop and Tom McElvogue and Rich Ryan for delivering the food. 
Please continue to donate throughout the holiday season.

Leaf Collection Ends

Crews are performing general leaf clean-up around the township. Residents requiring special pick- up must place their leaves in a bag along the curb. A "Leaf Collections Request for Services" form can be found on the website for a limited time. Click here.

Holiday Closing

The Upper Merion Senior Service Center will be closed as of Monday, December 22,  and will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2015.

LIBRARY

Happy Holidays

The library will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 for the Christmas Holiday.  The library will reopen on Friday, December 26 at 9:00 AM. The library will close at 5:00 PM on New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31.

 

De-Clutter w/ Darla

Learn ways to  de-clutter and organize this New Year. Join us on Monday, January 12, at 7:00 PM. Register here. 

 

Bookmas!

Guess the number of books in the Library's Bookmas tree and win a prize!  One prize will be given  by the Adult Department and one prize by the Children's Department. Entry slips are available in each department. A drawing will be held on January 2, 2015.

 

It's Frozen!  

Warm up in Freedom Hall on Tuesday, December 30 at 2:00 PM at the library's FREE family movie matinee. Come enjoy the popular Disney movie Frozen (rated PG, 102 minutes).


 

Countdown to Noon!

If you are too tired to see the ball drop, families with kids 8 and under are invited to Countdown to 2015 on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:30 AM in the Little Theater.  There will be stories, music, crafts and a photo booth.  Don't miss the fun!  Register here

ON THE MOVE

Traffic Delays

PennDOT says, the right lane will be closed on westbound Interstate 76 between the Gladwyne and Conshohocken interchanges on  Monday, December 22 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM for repairs to a damaged drainage inlet and roadway shoulder.
