Giving Back
Upper Merion Emergency Aid is holding a fundraiser in the Five Below store located at 147 East Swedesford Road in Wayne. Until August 9, ten percent of total dollars spent will be donated to UMEA. Store hours: M-F, 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
It's A...
...FREE service for women who are having their first baby. If you enroll in the Nurse Family Partnership, a program in the MCHD, a registered nurse will visit you in your home when you are pregnant with continuing visits until your child is two years old. Blood Drive Results
Thank you for contributing to the American Red Cross July Blood Drive at the Upper Merion Township Building. Benefits Coordinator Priscilla Tracy shared there were 60 scheduled donors, 53 officially signed in and donated 49 units of blood.

We need a few more people to sign up for our Summer Reading Program to meet our goal. Last day to enter the drawing is August 29. Teens and adults can do it online and the children can register at the children's desk. See website for details.

Just think of how much brighter you will feel after learning about the sun on Tuesday, August 12 at 7:00 PM in Freedom Hall. The program is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers.
Tech Night
Our youth volunteers can teach you how to download e-books and all the basics of digital devices on August 18, at 7:00 PM. Registration is required.
What's Eating You?
Perhaps you need to join our 6th annual Edible Book Contest on August 13 to feel better. Students in grades K-8 are invited to make a creation that is edible and related to a children's book. All entries are due on Wednesday, August 13, by 3:00 PM in Freedom Hall.
American Helicopter Museum
Winners from the Edible Book Contest will be announced during our helicopter program on Wednesday, August 13, at 6:30 PM. "Stubby", a real helicopter, will be visiting the library. No registration is required.
