Mark your calendar! We are celebrating our 5th anniversary with a chicken barbecue on Saturday, May 17. We are selling tickets at the Farmers Market booth during the Earth Day celebration! Cost? $8.00 for a platter of a 1/2 chicken and two sides. The event will be held in conjunction with the Swedesburg Fire Company.

Mental Health Awareness Month - May
The Community Alliance for a Safer Tomorrow (CAST) is sponsoring a Mental Health Panel Discussion on Monday, May 12 at the Upper Merion Middle School (Room C-230), from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Presenters from the Minding Your Mind Foundation will discuss the connection between mental health issues and substance abuse. The event is FREE and open to the public. Save The Earth
Compost bins and rain barrels are on sale. This "one day only" event will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM, at the Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell. More information here. Road Work On Powderhorn Road (Between Forge & Flintlock Roads)
Starting May 12, the existing 6-inch cast iron water main on Powderhorn Road will be replaced with a new 12-inch ductile iron main, which will improve service for local residents. Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and are expected to conclude in June.

Don't miss a Special Story Time treat!
Please join us on Tuesday, May 20 from 2-2:30 PM in the Little Theater for a special "bird" theme story time, presented by a team of amazing UM Middle School Students. Children ages 3 - 5 and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend this fun story time with great books, songs, and even a scavenger hunt. Parents must attend with their children. Registration required. Get ready to dance!
Join us as we dance our socks off to fun, upbeat music at a kids Dance Party on Tuesday, June 3 in the Henderson Room. The Toddler session (kids ages 2 - 3 1/2) will be from 10:30 - 11 AM and the Preschool session (kids ages 3 1/2 - 5) will be from 2 - 2:30 PM. Experiment with cool musical instruments and dance and sing along to some fun, children's songs. Space is limited, so register today!
