Yes, We're Open!

Our winter vendors set up on the lower level of the parking lot behind the Township Building every other Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  They have a system in which you can pre-order and then pick your item(s) up during your next market visit. The vendors always bring a little extra to tempt you.

E-Newsletter Corrections:
We are resending the e-newsletter. We apologize for the write-up in Safety & Codes. In an effort to reduce the content, we missed some very important wording. We also included a portion of the Snow Removal Ordinance, which did not have a clickable link attached. (All links should now be working) Thank you for reading!!

 SAFETY AND CODES

Portable Generator Alert

Remember, always use generators outdoors and NOT in your homes, garages, basements or other enclosed areas.  A "running" generator should be placed away from  doors, windows and house vents.

Generating Tips

1) Always plug electrical appliances directly into the generator using the appropriate rated gauge extension cord that are grounded (3-pronged plug).

2) Do not plug the generator directly into the homes electrical system unless a qualified electrician has properly installed a transfer switch that would protect utility workers from being electrocuted and protect your home from fire.

3) Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors

Do you use them in your home?  If not, install and maintain battery-operated or plug-in (with battery backup) carbon monoxide alarms in your home and place them on every level, outside the sleeping areas.
