Call for Proposals: Peace Corps Connect 2016

More information has now been posted to our website about this year's Peace Corps Connect conference, to be held in Washington, D.C. from September 23-25.
With the theme Peace Corps Beyond, we will be celebrating 55 years of Peace Corps and the limitless potential of our community to continue to affect change as we look to the future.
The conference will will highlight work being done by our community members and partner organizations and feature a series of workshops and breakout sessions around the following five topics: Global Health, Environmental Sustainability, Peace and Security, Economic Development, and Equality and Justice.
Call for Session Proposals: We invite members of the Peace Corps community to play a leading role in driving the content of the conference and open up this opportunity for members to share their expertise with the audience. February 5 Deadline for Once in a Lifetime Trip to Iran with NPCA's Next Step Travel Program

February 5 is the deadline to sign up for the National Peace Corps Association's Next Step Travel program inaugural trip to Iran departing on May 19, 2016.
" Bridge to Iran: Into the Heartland," has been designed in partnership with the Peace Corps Iran Association and will be implemented by San Francisco-based travel company Global Exchange. In late December, NPCA President Glenn Blumhorst wrote an open letter to the Peace Corps community condemning negative and aggressive speech targeting Muslims and refugees. He called on all of us to rededicate ourselves to the third goal of the Peace Corps, and to commit ourselves to education and constructive dialogue.
