The School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute annually recognizes exceptionally accomplished NPCA members with a minimum of one year of intercultural experience to receive a $10,000 scholarship. The SIT Graduate Institute features programs in International Education, Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation, Sustainable Development, and Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management.

You could be a part of an exciting study examining medication taken during Peace Corps Service. The National Peace Corps Association has partnered with researchers at Baylor College of Medicine to study possible links between health outcomes and medications taken during Peace Corps service. If you are a woman who served in the Peace Corps between 1961 and 1990 please email the research team at corpschronicles@bcm.eduThey will send you a link to the online survey. The survey takes about 30-40 minutes and can be taken online or over the phone. Question topics include lifestyle risk factors for diseases and a brief medical history. Read More

CUNY Graduate School of Journalism offers an intensive, 16-month, multimedia focused, Master's in Journalism in NYC. A subject concentration in International Reporting is available. Peace Corps Alumni who have completed one full year of service and who enroll in the CUNY J-School will receive a special one-time recognition grant of $2,000 toward the cost of tuition and fees.
