Equity Act Progress
There's progress on the Peace Corps Equity Act, not the least of which involved the efforts on Capitol Hill last week by this month's featured advocates.
Legislation for equitable reproductive health care treatment for Peace Corps Volunteers was re-introduced in the Senate by Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH). Companion legislation was introduced in the House of Representatives for the first time by Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY), who met with advocates to thank them for their work.
If you have not signed our Statement of Support (which began circulating last year), we need you to add your voice for fairness.
