NEW full-credit six-week classes just added!

DVC has just added a variety of two, three and four-unit classes condensed into a six-week format! This is a great way to take care of a general education or certificate requirement, or to just learn something new.

Classes are taught in Pleasant Hill, San Ramon or online, and most classes:

  • begin in mid-October and end before Thanksgiving!
  • are taught in late afternoon or early evening
  • are held four days a week (about 2 hours per class)
Check out the online schedule  or visit  www.dvc/CoursesToConsider for a complete listing of courses and descriptions, and then go to Insite/WebAdvisor to enroll. Note:
The InSite Portal and WebAdvisor will not be available until Tuesday, Oct 1.

Take this survey and enter to win a $150 Amazon gift certificate!

Participate in an online survey and be entered into a chance to win!  It will take you about 20 minutes to complete. The survey will only be available for a short amount of time! Visit: SURVEY and type in the password: college

Reminder: DVC no smoking policy

In recognizing the serious health risks associated with smoking, wishing to discourage both students and staff from becoming smokers, and recognizing the rights of non-smokers to a reasonably smoke-free environment, the following policy applies: smoking is allowed only in the parking lots for both Pleasant Hill and San Ramon Campuses.

InSite Portal and WebAdvisor will be temporarily unavailable Friday September 27 through Monday September 30.
Insite/WebAdvisor will be unavailable Friday, September 27 - Monday, September 30 while our technicians upgrade the system. It is scheduled to become available on Tuesday, October 1.
Please be a good neighbor and consider our surrounding neighborhoods
Our neighbors have reported that some students who park in the residential areas surrounding the college are not respectful of those neighborhoods. Our students have been reported emptying ashtrays and garbage from their cars onto the streets, playing loud music, and engaging in other types of disruptive behavior. We at DVC want to maintain an excellent reputation as a top notch institution of higher learning. Part of that means being a good neighbor. We understand that our students often have no other choice but to park on neighborhood streets, especially at the beginning of the semester and during heavy enrollment periods, but please show respect for our neighbors as you would your own. Help keep our neighborhoods clean, quiet and peaceful.
