The RTA Summer Passport is just the ticket for area teens to get to where they want to go in the Dayton region this summer. The pilot program provides unlimited travel options to teens ages 13 - 18 for the low price of $55 thoughout the summer.

The Greater Dayton RTA is one step closer to having real-time bus information for its customers thanks to the successful completion of the Mini-Fleet test. RTA plans to launch the new technology this fall and will begin installing real time information equipment this summer on all fixed route vehicles.

The Greater Dayton RTA CEO Mark Donaghy recently received the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission's (MRVPC) prestigious Regional Steward Award. MVRPC's Chairperson and Beavercreek Township Trustee Carol Graff along with MVRPC's Executive Director Brian O. Martin presented the award to Donaghy at the MVRPC Annual Spring Dinner.
RTA/Rebuilding Together Dayton Improves Safety of Home
Greater Dayton RTA employees and their families spent a Saturday in late March painting, digging, plastering, raking, repairing and renovating as they volunteered to rehab a home as part of National Rebuilding Day.
More than 3 dozen local role models competed for the title of "Most Inspirational Man in Dayton," all to benefit the non-profit organization Clothes That Work. Donaghy may not have been entirely comfortable in his first modeling gig, but he was willing to put himself out there to benefit the non-profit organization.
East Dayton BIKE Safety RODEO with emphasis on the SAFETY
RTA marketing staff and Link Bike Share bike techs joined forces with several Dayton-area organizations for the first East Dayton Bike Rodeo on May 14 at the Life Enrichment Center. The goal? To increase safety for young bike riders as they take to the streets this summer.
Safety demos and up-to-date information keeps safety top-of-mind at RTA. Everyone pitches in for SafetyPalooza - it's part safety awareness, part learning, and a whole lot of fun!
