Hillphoenix Inc., a Dover Company, designs and manufactures an extensive line of commercial refrigerated display merchandisers, commercial and light industrial refrigeration systems and mechanical centers, electrical distribution products, walk-in coolers and freezers, and specialty display cases and fixtures.  

 

Creative Surfaces was there to assist with building and installing new custom commercial cabinetry for them.  

 

The Sioux Falls YWCA changed its' name from the YWCA to EmBe... Empowering You To Be!  With this name change came a new look on the inside and outside of EmBe. Creative Surfaces was thrilled to be a part of this name change by providing the creative skills of our talented craftsmen and helped design a new custom built reception desk & cabinetry as well as interior and exterior signage.  Both locations, EmBe Avera downtown and EmBe Avera south, received monument and building signage.

 

On the exterior building sign downtown (shown to the right), we removed the 4 1/2ft x 4 3/4ft high center aluminum panels that previously had YWCA letters, and replaced them to new aluminum panels with laser cut letters, EmBe.

 

We also fabricated a custom built lobby desk.  It was built using Formica "Brite White" plastic laminate for the cabinets; the half wall face and sides are Wilsonart "Vapor Strandz" plastic laminate.  On the lower countertop we used Formica "Dolce Vita" and Cambria "Durham" quartz on the upper transaction top with a 4cm edge.  

 

   

At 20/20 Eye Candy, they provide a relaxing, fun, and unique approach to meeting your eyewear needs. They offer the newest technology in lenses and exclusive and unique frame lines..many not available in this region.

We were able to outfit their exterior building with some unique signage - fitting of their 'unique' store! Creative Surfaces set them up with some neat Chanel Letters & even a polycarbonate insert with their logo on for the pylon strip mall sign!

This Stone Center project takes us south quite a ways... but oh did we have so much fun with it! Here, the customer actually built an addition to their southern home that included a new den, master suite and bathroom.

Somewhere in the process of this addition, it just seemed like the right time to update all those kitchen countertops. But the project didn't stop there.  As much as this couple enjoys entertaining family and friends, it only seemed right to add a wet bar with Cambria Galloway countertops on painted and glazed cabinets using Sherwin Williams "Sealskin."  And, with the addition of some new light fixtures, artwork, and personal touches here and there, the project is complete!  Now all there's left to do is sit back, relax, enjoy and entertain....
