RECENT PROJECTS
the market - Healthier Lunch Spot for POET

For more than two decades, POET has defined the art of biorefining. They have grown from a single, humble refinery in Scotland, South Dakota, to one of the world's largest producers of ethanol and other biorefined products.

Creative Surfaces worked with POET in November 2014 to design and build custom commercial millwork and interior graphics for their on-site Market for the employees. The employee dining area cabinets were existing; however Creative designed a new slat wall, interior sign, corrugated metal graphic panels, and varying vinyl wall graphics to spruce up their lunch room.

BEER or WINE with your Mani/Pedi?

A Perfect 10 is not your typical bar - it's a revolutionary concept in nail and beauty salons.  More than just a conventional nail salon. We are a nail salon where you visit for your mani, pedi, skin and hair.  Essential services in a clean, trendy lounge with quality experience - while you enjoy a refreshing beer or glass of wine while you relax.

Creative Surfaces brought this exterior commercial signage for A Perfect 10 to life.  You see, this wasn't just a standard logo being brought to life -  the lettering for A Perfect 10 had to be consistent with the signage for the existing three locations in Rapid City, SD.

In the 1940s, the founders of Dallas Ceramic Company had a vision for a tile distribution channel unlike any other in the industry. Today, Daltile has grown from a humble manufacturing center in Dallas, Texas to a nationwide resource that's renowned for its customer service.

Creative Surfaces came to San Francisco where we installed the high end commercial cabinetry and millwork package that we designed and built for the Daltile Gallery.  We manufactured the package which consisted of: a binder & sample cart storage, a slotted library wall, sample room work counter, break room cabinets, a working/designing island, hospitality island counter, vignettes that include a stove top, a working table, and several shadowboxes.

CASEY'S General Store in Mitchell

In 1959, Founder Don Lamberti leased a store from his father on East 14th and Broadway in Des Moines, Iowa. After nine years of operating this old country store, which he remodeled into a convenience store, Don's gas supplier and friend Kurvin C. Fish, suggested that Don buy the Square Deal Oil Company. Thus, the story of Casey's General Store.

Through the years, Casey's success has been attributed to our clean stores, restrooms, and the friendly employees who pride themselves in customer service. Casey's customers have come to know that inside each store they will find dedicated, helpful, and well-trained employees, exceptional prepared food items, and a clean environment in which to shop.

Creative Surfaces was excited and honored to have been called to help them with the design and manufacturing of the commercial casework for these stores.

Their store required the construction of an island counter, cashier counter, the soda counter, coffee counter, food prep/kitchen area, some stand alone trash bins and, in some locations, a bathroom vanity.

COUNTERTOP DIVISION

What more can we say. This Cambria Bellingham kitchen remodel is truly stunning. The home sits in the central part of town where the homeowner purchased it site-unseen. Now, the home was great as purchased; however the new homeowner wanted to update the kitchen with a little bit of "her" style and it is beautiful.

She chose to remove the L-shaped kitchen and replaced it with an open floor plan which ultimately gave her double the cabinet space.  Going from dark cabinets to white, takes her from the traditional home to one with a contemporary flare. We added Cambria Bellingham countertops with a white farm sink and brushed satin hardware; the 3 x 6 inch white gloss subway tile gives her kitchen a very smooth, clean kitchen.  And the new flooring - that's actually porcelain planks with the look of wood from Florida Tile.
