PTA Meeting Wednesday November 12th at 7:00pm
Please plan to attend our next PTA Meeting in the Media Center. The meeting will start with a brief update about what is happening in the JC PTA and then our special guest speaker, District Psychologist, Alina Boie, will be presenting tips and tricks for Effective Parenting. Babysitting will be available free of charge, there will be a Spanish translator, and refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!

Calling All Writers, Editors, and Anyone Interested in Helping with the School Newspaper
The PTA will be working on a special new project. Twice a year we will be sending out a newspaper to all parents with interesting articles about teachers, students, events, and other relevant and exciting news about Julian Curtiss. 80's Prom Fall Fundraiser Coming Friday, November 21st!
Sweet Child O' Mine ..... Let's raise money for all our Sweet Children. Support the PTA and come to the Awesome 80's Fall Fundraiser!! RSVP deadline is approaching--please respond by November 15th. The event will take place Friday, November 21 from 7-11PM at the Millbrook Club, 61 Woodside Drive. Dinner, open bar, silent auction, games, raffles and other surprises. PTA Thanks!
Marianne Koushouris and Patti Finkelstein spent the entire day on Election Day (remember the beautiful weather?) inside JC selling their hearts out for the Election Day Bake Sale. Thank you soo much to both of them for their dedication to raising money for the PTA.
Alyssa Pecora is doing a phenomenal job with the Birthday Board! If you haven't had the chance to see it, please take a moment to check it out. It's amazing! Located in the front hall ares as you round the corner on the left. Thanks Alyssa!
Doris Meinelt has been busy collecting boxtops from all of the classrooms. Keep sending them in! Thanks to Doris for running the contests and keeping the families motivated to clip them. It adds up quickly and is great "free" money for the PTA.
