Special Holiday Shopping Event this week:
Don't forget the fantastic holiday shopping event this week, Tuesday, Nov. 27, Wednesday, Nov. 28, and Thursday, Nov. 29th. at Two'sCompany (68 Greenwich Avenue) and Tangerine (19A East Putnam Avenue - located near Treads and Threads). They will generously donate 15-20% of JC Families' purchases back to the school.
JC's Toy Shop:
The JC toy drive starts this week. Please donate unopened toys to the JC Toy Shop. You can place your donation in the designated box located in the front foyer . Most donated toys will be sold for $5 on December 12 and 13th.
AFTERS Classes:
Please be sure to read the following attachment that outlines all of the changes to the Afters program relating to session and registration dates, the registration process and the scholarship program. Also, please find the attached Afters Class Brochure for the upcoming Winter 1 session. Registration for the upcoming Afters session starts Tuesday, November 27th.
NEW AFTERS Registration Process:
- There is no longer a line to wait in!
- Fill out your registration form and place it in the envelope provided, along with your payment (check, credit card number, or cash) and the waiver (one form per child)
- Bring the envelope to school and place it in the box outside the main office
- Students will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis
- The registration form has two slots for each day on the sign up sheet. If your first choice is Gymnastics on Monday, please choose a second choice in case your child does not get into the class. It will be easier for us to place you in a class if you have already chosen an alternative.
- Please make the amount of your payment reflect the cost of your first-choice class. If your child does not get into your first-choice class, you will be refunded, or asked to pay, any difference.
PTA Website:
Please visit our new and improved JC PTA website . We have a new exciting program with Amazon whereby the school will receive up to 10% of your purchase! Please be sure to use the Amazon link shown on the PTA website whenever you shop at Amazon!
