City providing free sand and bags
If you are concerned about flooding on your property, pick up free sand and bags at one of two local sites. The first location is   behind City Hall. Enter at the driveway between the Police Station and Senior & Arts Center and look for a large gray metal unit with a "sand bag" sign at the rear of the parking lot.  A second sand bag site is located at Fire Station 36 at 9700 Oak Avenue Parkway near Baldwin Dam Road.
