Annual parade honors veterans 
Join your flag-waving friends and neighbors at Folsom's 14th Annual Wayne Spence Veterans Day Parade beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11. The parade will feature marching bands and drill teams; floats; veteran, scout and youth groups; Ben Ali Shrine go-carts; classic cars; Keystone Cops and clowns.

Grab your skates! Ice skating returns to Historic Folsom on Friday, Nov. 7.  Other upcoming events include the Art of Ballet Exhibit opening reception, Food Truck Safari and Thanksgiving Feast for the Animals at the Zoo Sanctuary.
Community Service Day thanks;
82,000 pounds of food collected!
A big round of applause for more than 1,000 volunteers who participated in Folsom's first Community Service Day and all the residents who supported the city-wide food drive. Volunteers collected 82,000 pounds of food and completed 20 projects. The remaining five projects were re-scheduled due to rain and will be completed on Nov. 8 and 15.
