Donations needed for food drive 
Help replenish the shelves at Twin Lakes Food Bank by participating in the upcoming Community Service Day city-wide food drive. Volunteers will drop off grocery bags and a list of most needed food items on your doorstep this week.  Please add non-perishable food and place the bag where it can be seen from the street by 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 for pick-up. 
  
Drought Watch:
City exceeds conservation goals 
Folsom has achieved significant savings in residential and municipal water use in response to the Governor's call for 20% water conservation.  Environmental and Water Resources Director Marcus Yasutake  provided a conservation update at Tuesday night's City Council meeting.
  

Renaissance Faire, Night of 1000 Pumpkins, & more fun fall events
Tour the Police Station and meet staff, dogs and horses during Saturday's open house.  Enjoy the entertaining Renaissance Faire Saturday and Sunday.  See the huge collection of carved and lit pumpkins on Sutter Street and watch a free Halloween movie on Oct. 24.  Yes, there's much to do in Folsom this time of year!
