City Council reduces water surcharge for East Area homes & businesses
Due to a reduction in Folsom's East Area water supply costs, the City Council recently approved a 65+ percent reduction in the water surcharge fee that East Area residents and businesses have paid since 1984 as a condition of the East Area annexation.  Water surcharge reduction

Increased activity on the rail line that runs through the middle of Folsom underscores the need to be on the lookout for flagmen.
Please obey their instructions as they move rail equipment through town during non-commute hours, crossing many busy streets along the way.
