Howell assumes mayoral duties
The Folsom City Council elected Kerri Howell as mayor and Ernie Sheldon as vice mayor during last week's Council meeting.  They will serve one year terms effective immediately. 
  
"I appreciate the confidence my colleagues on the City Council have shown in allowing me to serve as mayor of this great city," says Howell. 
Healthy Folsom kicks-off in January
Encouraging local residents of all ages to make healthy choices for the mind, body and earth is the goal of the Folsom Public Library's 2014 Healthy Folsom program. The project kicks-off in January and continues through May with a wide variety of activities designed to appeal to residents of all ages and interests.

The Folsom Senior Center offers a range of social programs, services and classes to help seniors cope during the holidays and enjoy life throughout the year.
