Folsom named host city for America's premier cycling race
 Folsom will be a host city for the 2014 Amgen Tour of California, the largest professional bike race in North America. The race features world-class cyclists from around the globe, including Olympic medalists, World Champions and top Tour de France contenders. |

Your donation of new and almost new shoes will benefit local families in need. Folsom Public Library is collecting shoes for kids and adults in recognition of America Recycles Day. All shoes donated through Nov. 30 will be sent to Twin Lakes Food Bank. Please bring donations to Folsom's Library, 411 Stafford St.
