Special City Council Meeting: 
Historic District Parking & Traffic
The Folsom City Council will hold a special City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 focusing on parking and traffic in the Historic District.  The meeting will be held at the Landmark Baptist Church, 609 Figueroa St., and the public is welcome to attend.
Happy 50th Birthday to Folsom Zoo!
PouncerFolsom's much beloved Zoo Sanctuary is celebrating its 50th birthday with a festive party on Saturday, Oct. 5.  Bring the family to visit the 90 special creatures who live at the Zoo, and participate in fun birthday activities.  The event runs from

Meet fire crews & tour station at Open House 
Folsom Fire Chief Ron Phillips invites the community to an Open House at the main Fire Station (535 Glenn Dr.) Saturday morning, Oct. 12.  This is a great opportunity to meet on-duty crews, tour the fire station, learn about fire safety and enjoy a pancake breakfast. View event flier
