Folsom firefighters battle Rim Fire
RimFire2013Nine firefighters from the Folsom Fire Department are on scene helping to contain the raging Rim Wildfire near Yosemite National Park.  They have joined 4,200 firefighters from all over the state combating the 7th largest wildfire recorded in California history. 
College athletics complex benefits Folsom community & students

Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony 
Sept11Folsom's 12th annual ceremony to honor those who lost their lives during the 2001 terrorist attacks begins at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Veterans Memorial in City Lions Park (adjacent to Folsom Public Library).  The public is invited to attend.
