Falcon Fun Cold Camp:

A Winter Break Camp at Valley Forge Elementary with Mr. Johnson & Mr. Diamond ! The Valley Forge Elementary PTO will be conducting a Winter Break Camp from 1pm to 4pm with 2nd grade teacher, Matt Diamond, and Physical Education teacher, Alex Johnson, for any child who currently attends VFES in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade.
Why you should attend:
- Get to hang out with Mr. Diamond & Mr. Johnson
- Play your favorite PE games
- Practice cooperation, team-building and social skills
- Water activities, arts and crafts
- Physical activity in a comfortable stress free environment
- A portion of proceeds go back to the PE department for equipment

 Youth Basketball Night, Friday, December 19, 2014 @ CHS The Conestoga high school girls' basketball team invites you to Youth Basketball Night.
All youth players wearing a team shirt will be admitted to the Dec 19th game FREE OF CHARGE! - Adult & CHS Students will be charged admission as usual.
- Games to win t-shirts & other goodies at halftime.
- The concession stand will be selling pizza, soft pretzels, baked goods, drinks and candy.
- Great basketball... Fun half-time activities... music... this is good family night out!

 T & E Care Holiday Food Drive
Many thanks to all of the families that donated to the T & E Care Holiday Food Drive! We delivered a full truck and full SUV to the collection site on Thursday afternoon. There were over 50 boxes filled with food! Your food donations will provide many meals and snacks to families in need throughout the holiday season. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Attendance Reminders
Students should arrive at school between 8:20 AM and 8:35 AM each morning. Please do not drop students off in the lobby prior to 8:25 AM because proper staff supervision is not available until that time. Students who are scheduled for A Child's Place or an early morning activity such as band, chorus or a club may be dropped off prior to 8:25 AM. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Blue Sky Band at 30 Main for T&E Care
On Friday, December 5, the Blue Sky Band will be playing at 30 Main, a restaurant in Berwyn, to support T&E Care's Holiday Drive. The Blue Sky Band is comprised of seven professionals from the local community, and plays classic rock music for fundraising events for charitable causes in the area. T&E Care is honored to be selected as a recipient of this distinguished group's talents and enthusiasm. Bring a gift card for the Holiday Drive as admission to the band's performance at 8:00pm. 30 Main will also offer 10% of the food bill to T&E Care for anyone having dinner there prior to the band's performance.
Last Day T&E Care Annual Holiday Drive
Once again the holidays are about to happen and many people right in our communities struggle to afford any gifts or a special meal for their families. Tredyffrin & Easttown Care is a non-profit that helps local families throughout the year with emergency situations, as well as at the holidays. The T&E Care annual holiday drive runs from November 17 to December 6. Donations of gifts, food baskets, cleaning supplies, gift cards, and other items are needed for over 80 local families. If you would be willing to help out by sponsoring a family, or providing certain requested items, please check out the T&E Care website - www.tecare.org. This is truly a neighbor helping neighbor event!

Free Snow Pass for 4th and 5th Graders
Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association is offering FREE ski and/or ride for any child in 4th or 5th grade when accompanied by a paying adult at their participating ski areas in the state of Pennsylvania all winter long! They also offer free lift tickets for the child!

We thank all the parents for their generous snack/drinks donations for the 1st Grade Snack Sale. We also thank all the parents who sold snacks all morning last Monday.
A big thank you to Mrs. Lesley Kennedy and her class for all the T & E Care Food Drive announcements and food sorting help for the past three weeks. The food drive donations will fill the back of a pick-up truck!!! Thank You! Our heartfelt thanks to Carolyn Swetkowski for helping with the Food Drive.
