Welcome Back From Our New PTO President
Happy back to school week to all! I hope your summers were full of fun times and that these first weeks are as smooth a transition to the routine of school days that it can be. In addition to the excellent teachers and staff at Valley Forge Elementary, part of what makes our school so special is the tremendous support from families in our community. I warmly welcome the families and students who are new to Valley Forge Elementary and our community. I enjoyed meeting many of you last week and look forward to your participation in our school and PTO.
After six years of being a VFES volunteer, I am happy to write to you with my latest volunteer hat upon my head. It will be my pleasure to lead the PTO this school year...

Important Food Allergy Information
As you may know, our District continues to see an increase in the prevalence of students with life threatening food allergies. The focus of our allergy management continues to be prevention, education, awareness, communication and emergency response. Recognizing the risk of accidental exposure to allergens through cross contamination, the District is modifying our existing practices with respect to food in the elementary schools.
Please take a moment to read the following documents for more information about the revisions to our food allergy practices.
