Being The PTO President Can Help Your Resume!

We are still in need of a PTO president for next year. Benefits of being the PTO President include:

  • Position demonstrates leadership, problem solving and organizational skills -- great for a resume
  • Fills in any gap in employment that you may have if you stepped out of the workforce
  • Helps you build a huge network of connections
  • You gain insider knowledge about our school & district
  • You get to know so many of the great families and kids in our school

Make a difference at VFES. The PTO president position is now designed to only be a one year term. Please contact Raquel Hunter at [email protected]if you are interested.

Oops!  We Forgot A Thank You

We neglected to mention that Mrs. Humbert, Mrs. Sachs and Mrs. Sullivan also donated to the VFES Silent Auction. So sorry ladies!  Thank you!

Glue Stick and Bottle Recycling Program

We are saving our empty glue sticks

and glue bottles as part of our Go

Green science unit in 2nd grade.

Elmer's Glue Crew Recycling Program

uses the recycled items to make new

items like backpacks and binders.

If you have any empties at home, please send them in and deposit them in the bright orange glue recycle box in the lobby.

You can get more info at elmersgluecrew.com to learn more about this program.  Thanks for helping 2nd grade.
Gratitude Corner
There will be many more Spring Fair thank yous but we have to thank Jen & Brendan Arnott for chairing this year's Spring Fair again with their incredible, dedicated team of over 20 individual event chairs.  We are so grateful for all of your hard work on this year's FIESTA!
