   
Dear Parents & Guardians -
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Spring Fair, is in two weeks and we still have OVER 80 OPEN VOLUNTEER positions.
It takes a massive effort to run this event and we can't do it without your help. Funds raised from this year's event will be used for:
- Ten annual cultural arts assemblies
- Our annual Gifts to School purchases. This year the school has asked for 5 iPads per grade & the appropriate accessories (cases, charging stations, etc)to go with them (cost =$17,000). The iPads have been used successfully at Devon Elementary and will encourage learning, provide access to e-books and help promote technology use.
- Classroom & publishing center supplies, the "VFES Family Fund," and more.
We only need 1 ½ hours of your time at the fair. Too much? Consider finding a friend to split a time slot with you & trade off watching the kids!
We will need to cancel games and events if we can't staff them with volunteers which would be disappointing for the kids. Parent response is extremely low right now.
