Teacher on Assignment for Technology (K-12), in scheduled meetings throughout the school year. Lessons have been adapted from the Common Sense Media (http://www.commonsense.org) curriculum. We

will be starting lesson for grades 3 (Talking Safely Online) and for grade 4 (Follow the Digital Trail) in November and December. Grade 2 will have their first lesson after the winter break.

Parents may review the lessons and handouts for each grade level in the Digital Citizenship section on the Parent channel on the VFE website or using this link www.tesd.net/domain/1002 of each lesson in order to continue our Digital Citizenship dialogue at home. Please be sure to review the content and objectives.

Gratitude Corner

Thank you Donna Costin and Adrienne Miller for co-chairing the Recess Laps program this fall. We also really appreciate the work of the huge amount of parent volunteers that helped with this program. The kids just love it!

Our kids would not be able to open their milks without the help of the following Cafeteria Monitors:   Debbie Geiger, Colleen Gilmartin, Karen Jens, Sukie Carpenter, Andrea Brennan, Jackie Brockman, Lara Ferri Shah, Brooks White, Rachel Komlos, Tarin Cataldo, Christina Piccoli, Heather Bittenbender, Heidi Kelly, Beth Stansfield, Amanda Ivory and Carol Connolly. Thank you all so much.

We also appreciate the hard work of our Cultural Arts Chairperson, Michelle Rossi. She lined up a wonderful assortment of cultural arts assemblies this year. Colleen Marengo, Lynne Spangler, Jenni DiMaio and Julie Kang were kind enough to help with the assemblies.

Hear ye, hear ye! Susan Moyer created an amazing colonial Valley Forge themed luncheon for all of the staff at VFES. The large group room was transformed into a colonial winter wonderland and teachers thoroughly enjoyed an array of delicious dishes. Thank you to all of the parents that prepared food and helped Susan with the event.
