This came across across Facebook yesterday and I immediately called in Diva Dan to admire Lynn's creativity. A simple idea, ...Continue Reading»

Creativ Festival Contest has gone Mad,
Mad for the Alice 'Hooks in Wonderland Prizes.
Why,  sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before Breakfast Lewis Carroll

Here at the Crochet Crowd Creativity before breakfast is what gets us going.
We are getting ready for another Creativ Festival show in April 2014, but this time we are asking our Mad Hatter Crowd to create the most creative hat for the festival's contest.

Over $2500 in Prizes will given to 5 creative crocheters.

For more information on the guidelines and contest rules and for those that always have questions, you might find your answer on the FAQ

"You would have to be half mad to dream (that) up". "Off with their Heads." or in this case 'Hats' to the most creative and far out hats.

The Upcoming Games With Schachenmayr
Let the Games Begin Hats
Let the Games Begin Hats
With the Games beginning, we all hope that each country will do the best they can. We also hope for safe return and safety for all people attending the games. We support honest competitions of human achievement and endurance during these games. So to celebrate these awesome events, why not make a hat supporting your country's colours.

We used Boston, My Mountain by Schachenmayr Yarns. The Pattern is Called Canadian Peak. There is something wonderful about this yarn, maybe that it has a blend of  Wool that feel so natural to wear and to crochet.

The hat is warm and very easy. After all Diva Dan who is not really a crocheter did 4 of them!

Editor's Note: To be featured in our Facebook Page is purely like winning the lottery! It is always random and with such a wonderful page of MANY followers we do our best to include as many as we can when time allows us. Also Patterns might not be available. Be kind to those and please support each other by going to the 'recently post by others' page and give everyone a thumbs up or a positive comment. After all, we created this page to give you the chance to inspire others and to support each other with questions. Just like being in School show and tell was always the best time of the day. We love every one of these projects and hope you share that love with others as well.
