Did you enjoy the Crochet Along?

It was just a week  long event shared on The Crochet Crowd on how to Fillet Crochet.  A quick little course that Red Heart requested us to do. Have you ever heard of Filet Crochet? Many did not and greatly appreciated the new experience. A practice rarely often used.

The Crochet Along event was to make  the Shimmery Hearts Scarf . Once you got the idea, our fans started to use the same idea and filet their own name.

Check out the Flickr Page for the outstanding entries.  Over 700! Thanks for everyone that had that took part.

Let The Games Begin, celebrate your Country's Spirit and wear with Pride
Let the Games Begin Hats
Let the Games Begin Hats
With the Games beginning, we all hope that each country will do the best they can. We also hope for safe return and safety for all people attending the games. We support honest competitions of human achievement and endurance during these games. So to celebrate these awesome events, why not make a hat supporting your country's colours.

We used Original Boston part of the My Mountain by Schachenmayr Yarns. The Pattern is Called Canadian Peak. There is something wonderful about this yarn, maybe that it has a blend of  Wool that feel so natural to wear and to crochet.

The hat is warm and very easy to crochet. After all Diva Dan, who is not really a quick crocheter, did 4 of them in a couple days!

Editor's Note: To be featured in our Facebook Page is purely like winning the lottery! It is always random and with such a wonderful page of MANY followers we do our best to include as many as we can when time allows us. Also Patterns might not be available.
