This spring has proven to be more busier than I initially intended for myself. I am steadily working on our website that initially re-launched last week with a whole new interface that has made it much easier to locate patterns and more.A major change that you will be noticing is the integration of my YouTube Videos and helpful tips within specific sections of our free patterns. With the help of Cathy, we are going through our inbox and determining the popular questions that people are asking so that we can ensure that information is better displayed and available. You can easily identify which projects have a "Video Tutorial" by looking for a tag saying "Video" under the title or picture.

Big Ball Blowout
Bananza Event with Mikey
Yes... it's back for a second year. Spinrite Factory Outlet in Listowel Ontario is holding their annual Big Ball Blowout Bananza. This just isn't any little yarn sale. This is a massive tent with jaw dropping low prices. There's a reason why they give you a garbage bag when you enter the tent.
Thousands of people flock to Spinrite during the 3 day tent sales. For those who don't know, they are the makers of Bernat, Patons, Caron, Phentex and Lily Sugar'n Cream. They also have their own private brand that are made just for this sale. I have no idea what will be in the tent until I get there. I can't wait!
There's a reason why they call it"Big Ball Blowout". Mostly everything is in jumbo to monster size yarn balls.
pssst... I am there on May 23, 24 and 25th from 10 am - 3 pm. Find me under the yarn tent!

Ocean Waves Challenge Finishes

Are you ready for my next challenge? It's the new Circular Motif Shawl by Red Heart. I was looking for something wearable yet light enough to work on during the warm weather. When it cools off in the evenings, the shawl makes for a fashion accessory but also practical.
This challenge will teach you motifs and connecting motifs together as you go. This project works up quicker than you may realize. Mikey has a complimentary video tutorial to show you how to complete the 3 different motifs required for this project.
