 Denise Simon, Acting coach and career consultant, has been involved in the entertainment industry for over twenty five years as an actress, teacher, director, and personal talent manager. For ten years she was an associate with Fox Albert Management, one of the leading talent management companies in New York, where she managed such clients as Scarlett Johansson, Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino, Lacey Chabert (Party of Five) and Judy Reyes (NBC's Scrubs).Denise is recommended by New York's agents, managers and casting directors for her ability to coach young actors without having them look coached. She has developed a simple technique teaching students to direct themselves. Denise has a gift for speaking their language and a beautiful way of directly communicating - instilling confidence and skill. PPYT will be offering a Headshot Day with Yolanda Perez, who is a very well know headshot photographer in NYC. Yolanda shoots for all the major theatrical agents and managers.

   

When:    Saturday, November 17

 

Where:  The Piper Theater, Bedford Hills, NY

 

FEE:       $150

 

You will get one clothing change, about 50-100 images, hair and makeup, and a link emailed to your email address. Retouching is $25 extra. Samples of Yolanda's work can be found on her website http://www.ypphoto.com. Yolanda normally charges between $550 and $700 for a photo shot, but this is an opportunity to do a "mini" session with her. Great gift for the holidays.

 

Clothing Choices: wear jeans and bring 2-3 additional tops (preferably bright/solid colors) non-wrinkled/non-stained. Only one top will be used unless the person signs up for two sessions.

 

What NOT to Wear: no busy patterns, no gray, beige, cream or dull colors, no logos, no turtlenecks, nothing that will distract from your face (skinny stripes aren't so great) anything that will show a bra strap, anything trendy.

 

There will be two hair and makeup artists on set, but if anyone has difficult/real curly hair that will benefit from a salon blowout, then you should make a salon appointment prior to the shoot.

 

Yolanda can accommodate adults - if women arrive with hair and makeup ready.

 

Ten minutes will be spent on hair and makeup and ten minutes on set. Additional Photo shoot guidelines can be found at Yolanda's website www.ypphoto.com under the section "useful links."
Headshot appointments will be scheduled every ten minutes (10:00-10:20, 10:10-10:30, etc) with the first appointment at 10:00am.  Registration for this event is online only and you will need a credit card.
