My Recent Speech at Norwich University...
Norwich University welcomed activist and actress Leandra Ramm to discuss her personal ordeal as a victim of cyber stalking and the enterprise it has spurred - the Ramm Initiative - on Monday, November 11. Norwich students are leading a team of student-researchers to aid Ramm's efforts at legal reform of US and international laws pertaining to cyber stalking. Ramm discussed her well-publicized ordeal with cyber stalking, also the topic of a book and a movie. A New York-based actress, Ramm was pursued online for years. Through the process of seeking relief and justice, she discovered a lack of legislation dedicated to cyber stalking. With the aid of a digital forensics expert, Ramm's case was solved and an arrest made. Now, Ramm has become an activist for legal reform on cyber stalking and has formed the Ramm Initiative to spearhead this reform. |
