Dr Zeoli grew up on Long Island, New York, where some of her earliest memories were of wanting to be a veterinarian. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. After veterinary school she completed an internship focusing on medicine, surgery, and emergency at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC.

Dr. Burks grew up near Mobile, Alabama. She attended Auburn University for both undergraduate studies and for veterinary school, where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. From there, she moved to Baltimore, MD and began work as an emergency veterinarian at a busy 24 hour critical care hospital. Five years of hustling emergency medicine proved enough, and she began working at Pet Dominion in 2013.
