MindStart

Have you ever wondered how MindStart came to be?  In this newsletter I share how MindStart began and what things are considered when designing activity products for people with dementia. Also, check out our other dementia care tips such as helping kids have a good visit.

I hope you find something useful - and if you do, please share with others.  I repeatedly hear caregivers and professionals alike, seeking more information about dementia.  Together, we can help make a difference.

Designing Activities for People with Dementia

I have to say that I love the path that my passion for occupational therapy and helping people with dementia  has taken.  I used to adapt activities for my patients one by one as I worked with them.  Now I get to design activities that turn into products that can help hundreds with dementia! I am excited to be on this path.
