Update on Fire Damaged Home
The HG Board of Directors would like to provide an update on the home at 5309 Nichols Drive that had extensive damage as a result of a fire in the early morning hours of December 3rd, 2015.

The home was completely destroyed (no one was home), and as you can imagine, it is going to be a lengthy process to rebuild. The home is being taken down this week. Once this is accomplished, based on the condition of the foundation, plans can be made to start the re-construction. This process is
expected to take multiple months to complete.

The owners have been most cooperative and responsive to the
HG Board, and we will keep all residents informed as to the
re-construction status, as these dates become available in the future.

Recycling

Remember to put those lawn and shrub clippings directly into your garbage cans or a recyclable bag, as they will decompose in the landfill if they aren't in plastic

Reuse:  How can I get rid of something in my house, make a little money(maybe) and feel safer doing it?
Well the answer is right on your computer.  It is a website called Nextdoor.com.  What is great about this is that you can only offer your goods to the neighbors in HG or you can choose the surrounding neighborhoods.  It just feels safer having only people close by to interact with.  You can even make your exchanges at a local site.

Those of you wanting to do a spring garage sale - it looks like the weekend of May 13th is a good choice. Many people have expressed an interest in doing it that weekend to help with the results of spring cleaning!
This is not sponsored by anyone, so feel free to put up your own signs, etc., but with others doing it, we can get more buyers and reduce the impact on the neighborhood throughout the summer! Happy Selling!
Residents..We Want to Hear From You
