I hope everyone has gotten a chance to log in and see the new website at www.heritagegreens.org. Let me know what you think.

Log In Information
Each household has one account. The user name is the email associated with the address. If we have two emails for your household, only one of them will be the user name. The password is a random set of letters and numbers. Your log in information was emailed to the email address associated with your address. Please check the emails of both adults to find your log in information email. If you did not receive your log in information please contact me at news@heritagegreens.org

Updating Your Profile - Resident Directory
One of the first things you should do when you visit the website is update your profile. Click on Your Profile on the left at the top. Please fill in as much information as possible including:
  • Change your password to something you can remember
  • Add information for the second adult in your house if there is one
  • Add your cell phone numbers
  • Add the names and birth dates of your children
You may choose not to show your profile or certain personal information, but I encourage you to leave all the "Show" questions as Yes. This is the Heritage Greens Resident Directory and replaces the printed book. Only residents will be able to see your information, not the public or spammers. So fill in all the details now and if you ever want to hide your information later, you may do so.

Features
  • Under Residents is information on volunteers, architectural compliance, HOA documents, upcoming social events, the pool, tennis courts and how to reserve the community room. There are also great tools that we can use as a community.
  • The Message Board allows you to post your own message to the neighborhood. Be sure to click My Subscriptions at the top to choose the topics that interest you.
  • There is a Classifieds page so feel free to post what you want to sell, or what you are looking for, and be sure to include a photo.
  • There is also the Find a Sitter page where baby and pet sitters can post their information and let the neighborhood know they are looking for business.
  • And don't forget all the information in the Resident Directory. You can search for friends and neighbors by their name or address.
If you have any questions, problems or concerns, feel free to contact me directly.

Neighbors and Nonprofits:
25th Annual Inner City Christmas Party

The youth at St. Thomas More Parish want to thank the residents of Heritage Greens for their generous support in the past years. Your support makes it possible to hold this event for 4- and 5-year-olds from Denver Public Schools.

On December 6, hundreds of young children will come to St. Thomas More for a day of celebration and fun. The children will enjoy a puppet show, face painting, food, a magic show, balloon animals, coloring, playing, and, of course, a visit and gift from Santa Claus.

In the past, Heritage Greens has been a generous sponsor to help with the cost of putting on such an event. Food, entertainment, supplies and gifts (approximately $25 for each child) need to be purchased or donated. Remember, for many of these children, this will be some of the few gifts they will receive. Any donation you could make would be appreciated. Please mail your tax-deductible check, payable to St. Thomas More Church, to 8035 S. Quebec St., Centennial, Colorado 80112, attention David Tschumper.

The party is December 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in McClellan Hall. If you would like to come and help the teenagers of STM, or make cookies, or serve lunch, please contact David Tschumper in the Youth Ministry Office at youth@stthomasmore.org

Recycle, Reduce, Reuse

ReUse: Is "Regifting" a bad word? Not really, when the item you donate can be used for children and families less fortunate.Place your item on the front porch of 8125 S.  Glencoe Ct.  The items will be given to a needy school.  They hold a Bingo night in December and the kids and their families can choose prizes, many of which become holiday gifts for their family members.  Items needed by Sunday, Nov. 25.

Recycle:  Don't forget to recycle your Christmas tree.  List of recycle places will be provided in the December newsletter.

Reduce:  Using holiday lights that are energy efficient not only benefits your electric bill, but the amount of wattage needed will be less.  Spend a little more now, but save for years ahead.
